Important?

Only the most important acronyms about computer, chat, Internet, networking, and phones. If you don't find it here it can't be that important - at least not common knowledge even when talking to "experts".

A piece of advice: you almost never need to know the long form of an acronym but what it really means. We tried to give some hints in the following table.

12-Lookup displays the following acronyms in a one-click-accessible window. You may sort up and down, by category or acronym. To find an acronym all you need to do is type in the first letter at the top of the table. 12-Lookup will jump there immediately. This makes finding an acronym faster than searching on the Internet!
